Who We Are

ALE provides lessons for children and adults, from first-time riders to intermediate and advanced students. Our equestrian professionals customize instruction to each rider’s experience, needs, and goals. We offer a variety of well-trained, safe school horses and ponies. Whether you prefer private instruction or a small group setting, we’ll support your riding ambitions. Our comprehensive program covers horsemanship, grooming, tacking and untacking, horse care, and riding.

What makes our program unique?

We offer both classical and western dressage instruction. Our team is available six days a week, excluding major holidays. Lessons take place in a covered, lighted arena so you can ride year‑round, rain or shine, with afternoon slots to fit after‑school and after‑work schedules. Students work with our trainers to groom and tack their horses before and after lessons; if a rider needs help learning these skills, we’ll incorporate that instruction into the lesson. Our program began with a clear and focused objective: to ensure that horses and horse enthusiasts not only survive but truly thrive for many years to come. As we observe our community, we increasingly notice the effects of family farms gradually disappearing, widespread misconceptions about horses, and unsafe riding practices that put both riders and animals at risk. We remain confident that by basing our training on these essential key principles, we can effectively preserve and responsibly pass down the rich equestrian heritage to future generations.
